Sunshine City Scholarship

We are pleased to offer this exciting four-year scholarship opportunity to students who will graduate from a Pinellas County high school and will be new first-year students entering Eckerd College in Autumn Term 2027.

Recipients of the Sunshine City Scholarship—in combination with institutional, federal and state aid—will have tuition and mandatory fees, along with standard double housing and meal charges, covered annually for up to four years.

ELIGIBILITY

To be considered for this scholarship you must:
1. Be a high school senior graduating from a Pinellas County high school
2. Live on campus for the duration of their time as an Eckerd Student
3. Be admitted to Eckerd College by March 1, 2027
4. Submit the Sunshine City Scholarship application by March 1, 2027
5. Complete and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov; be sure to list Eckerd College (school code 001487) so that your results are received by February 1, 2027—priority consideration will be given to students with the greatest demonstrated financial need.
6. If invited, participate in an on-campus interview on Friday, April 2, 2027
